MAILBOX: Contact Information For Akila’s Family

GMC,

Could you help me find contact info for Akila’s family?

Thanks.

By the way, I do enjoy reading your blog. Keep it up.

Peter R

Critic’s note: Peter is such a skunt. All he has to do is call NCN or any reporter in Guyana and if they do not have the info they will be able to get it in five minutes. He has clearly written to GMC because he wants to show off (ONCE AGAIN) that he is giving something. It is impossible for this man to do anything good and stay quiet about it.

Note to Guyana Times II

Dear Avery “Quack Journalist” Gomes et al,
Please do not every write another editorial in your goddamn life. Ever. We are tired of your verbose posturing, seeking to sound intelligent on issues you know absolutely skunt about, and failing horribly.Justify Full
For example, your inciteful (yes, we know what we wrote) editorial “We still haven’t learn” is complete shit - and we mean that in the best way possible. You are essentially blaming the Floods of 2005 and any subsequent flooding solely on people dumping garbage? And with those fucking arguments?

By the way, let us show you how stupid you are: After months at the helm of that fucking fiasco of a newspaper, you “still haven’t learn” proper grammar, something you admit as much to in the title of your editorial itself.

The Management of the Times needs to stop perpetuating that journalistic hoax on the Guyanese public or their circulation is going to drop as low as its step-sister publication the Guyana Chronicle which, interestingly enough, continues to provide us with wanton displays of editorial incompetence like today’s caption of a picture of alleged killer Louis Lancaster with the name of the taxi driver, Vibert Assanah, that he is accused of murdering.

You know you have to be doing something extremely wrong when Kaieteur News begins to look like the Washington Post next to your newspaper. Avery, do us a favour and edit yourself out of the damn newspaper business. You are the weakest link.

Yours truly,
Arbiter
